Muting a Call
Pressing the MUTE button while on a call will mute the microphone so that the other party cannot hear you.
Placing a Call on Hold
Pressing the HOLD button while on a call will put the call on hold. You will not be able to hear the other party and they will not be able to hear you. Depending on your specific configuration, they may hear music on hold or company messages. While the call is on hold, you can hang up, place other calls, and perform other functions before returning to the call by selecting the line that is on hold and picking up the handset, or pressing the speakerphone or headset buttons.
