Bitnetix offers you as many local phone numbers as you want in as many different locations of the country as you want (subject to availability).  This local number can then be set up with voicemail, forwarding of voicemails as email attachments, and the ability to forward to a single or multiple phone numbers when someone calls you.  Typical uses include:

• Someone who is away from home can get a local phone number to give to friends and family back home that rings that person at wherever they are staying or on their mobile phone.
• Get a local phone number in the area code(s) of your choice to give to clients so that they do not have to pay for long-distance charges to contact you.
• Get a personal line for each of your family members and they will all have their own voice mail.
• Run a small business from your home with a new phone number forwarded to your home or mobile phone.
• Customized caller ID options are available to help identify both callers and the number called.

Since this product is offered as an Internet-based service, there is no sales tax, no federal tax, no 911 recovery fee, and no hidden charges.  For one low monthly fee, you get a phone number in the area code (and possibly the first three digits) of your choice, a voicemail box that you can access remotely or via the web, a personal "mini auto-attendant," configurable via a web-page, that can route your calls for you, and up to 1,000 minutes per month of incoming/forwarded calls.  As this is an incoming call service only, no one will ever know the actual phone number that you use to answer the phone, so your privacy is ensured.  You can have as many numbers as you want, and can cancel at any time.

Bitnetix offers simplified billing options to make your life (and ours) easier and cheaper.  You pay one low fee per month via automatic payment on your credit card or through PayPal automatic deductions.  If you ever desire to cancel your service, simply inform us and we will cease billing your account and terminate service at the end of the current month.  

This service is available for phone numbers in the contiguous United States only, and cannot be used to forward to numbers outside the US, to Hawaii, or to Alaska at this time.  We are working on providing this service and will be happy to announce it when it becomes available.
