• What personal information do you collect?

Only what you give us.  We know what names and email addresses people register on our site with, and we know what people put into the search bar.  Other than that, we collect nothing.

• What do you do with this information?

We use the search information to see if we are providing people with the information they are looking for, and we use your name and email to send you information that we think you might be interested in.  We don't rent, share, give, sell, or even think about giving this information to anyone else unless their request is accompanied by a valid court order.

• Does your site use cookies?

Most sites these days do, if only to provide you with a customized interface or to track your progress through the site (called "breadcrumbs") to allow you to retrace your steps.  Our site does this as well.  We do not use advertising cookies, tracker cookies, or any other form of cookies other than those that are crucial to the navigation of our site.

• What about my computer's information?

Every computer has an Internet Protocol (IP) address.  This addresses, browser type, operating system, and the referring site (i.e., where you were before you came to our site) are all logged by our web server.  This information is not personally identifying and is solely used to get an idea of how many people are using our site and with what technologies.

• Will I ever get email from you?

You might.  We like to think that people register with us because they want to be kept up to date on news, events, and special opportunities that we make available from time to time.  We are not a marketing company though, so these tend to be things like a new service offering, a "get to know us" picnic in the park, or whether or not one of our staff will be attending the local job fair.  We don't like spam in our mailboxes, and we assume that you don't either.

• Law enforcement

As mentioned, if we receive a lawful court order to release information, then we will comply with the law.  We will also release information when necessary to protect the life, safety or property of others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection, identity theft protection, and credit risk reduction.

• Children

We do not offer our services to children. If you are under 18, you may use this site only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

• Other websites

Other web sites may be linked to from this site.  If you link to another site, your privacy depends on the policy of that site.  We strongly urge you to check their privacy policy.  Not all sites guarantee that they will not share your personally identifiable information with others.  You may also wish to consult privacy guidelines such as those recommended by the Online Privacy Alliance (www.privacyalliance.org).
