The 10x5 Small Business Phone System is ten phones, five phone numbers, and 4000 minutes per month of combined inbound/outbound calling. It is perfect for the small but busy office with a central receptionist or front desk person who answers phones for some "back office" staff, or for an organization such as a real estate broker or financial services organization where there may be multiple companies or agents working under same roof, each with different telephone requirements. This system allows everyone to maintain their individuality while still tying things together into a cohesive whole. The phones and numbers can be combined in any fashion, including distinctive ringing and incoming caller ID manipulation, to ensure that inbound calls get routed to the proper phone with the proper notification. Outbound calls can have their outbound caller ID set based on which phone is used, what number is called, or a host of other criteria.
The cost of this system is $7000 over two years. $1600 is due at contract signing, and $225 is due per month for 24 months*. In total, that comes out to $291.67 per month, or just over $29 per phone, with no additional taxes, fees, surcharges or other hidden fees.
Unlike the traditional phone world, an inbound phone number does not have to ring a specific phone. This means you can use interactive voice response (IVR) menus to have callers select destinations from a touchtone phone, dedicate individual numbers to individual phones, have a number that rings multiple phones and the first one to pick up gets the call, create support or sales queues (similar to a much larger call center), have a dedicated conference line, or private numbers that go to password-protected IVRs for gaining access to the business phone system from a remote location.
This last option is useful for checking voice mail, directly calling extensions at the office that are not accessible from the "public" phone numbers, or accessing a special feature called a DISA that allows outbound calls to be made as if you were at the office. This is an especially useful tool for employees that are on the road, since outbound calls made through the DISA maintain the office caller ID, rather than an employees cell phone - or their grandmother's!
With ten phones and five phone numbers, the number of ways in which the 10x5 system can be configured is almost as great as the number of companies who want to use it. Through the power of Voice Over IP and Bitnetix's knowledge and experience, the options are limited only by what you can imagine you can do.
*The final payment may be slightly more or less than this amount to account for rounding errors. In the end, the total amount paid over the contract term will be the amount listed.
International calls will be billed at Bitnetix's highly competitive rates. International rates vary based on destination, land line or mobile phone, and even area within the destination country, so it is next to impossible to give a complete listing of those rates here. International calling can be disabled if you wish, thus preventing any calls to destinations outside of the United States and Canada. International destinations can also be allowed by specific country if you require the ability to call certain locations only.
